Officiant Contract and Wedding Vows

Thank you for choosing Elegant Weddings to be a part of your most important event!  I truly consider it an honor. 

My contract will detail your wedding date and location, my responsibilities, monetary fees and a copy of the agreed upon ceremony and vows.

In any future correspondence, please be sure to list your name and wedding date.   If you decided to create your own vows, I must have a copy of them with this contract one week before the wedding date.

Mrs Marlo agrees to provide the Officiator service on ______________, and beginning at _______ am / pm, ending at _________am / pm_. Ceremony time is 1 hr.

The date and duration above is agreed upon and is included in the negotiated price.  If there is a run over of time, an additional $25.00 will be incurred for each 30 minute interval over the allocated time.  The overtime will be billed to Bride & Groom and payment must be sent within 2 weeks of Ceremony date to the address above.

Fees and Deposits:

The negotiated price listed in this contract includes outlined duties above and event duration agreed upon.  As listed, there are additional fees for time run over or special requested items .

I require a   50% non refundable retainer   for ceremony’s over $350.00, ceremonies under

$350.00 must be paid in full at time of signing. Once payment in full is made there will be no refunds issued. 

Payment / Retainer Received:   $________ (send with contract) including travel and setup fee if any. All Summer Beach weddings that take place between the hours of 11am and 4pm through the months of June, July and August, there will be an additional charge of $200.

Ceremony and Vows:

Agreed form of Ceremony and Vows must be attached to this contract with initials of all parties.   If the Bride and Groom create their own vows, the desired form of their name they wish to be called must be inserted into their vows.

Cancellation Policy:

In the event that the Bride & Groom wishes to cancel the Ceremony or that the Ceremony cannot take place through no fault of “Civil Officiant”; the Bride & Groom remains liable for the total amount above and if full or partial payment has been made there will be no refunds issued. .  If the “Civil Officiant” for some reason such as death, sickness, or accident beyond their control must cancel, “Civil Officiant” will offer to book another Civil Officiant.  If that is not possible all monies received will be returned to the Bride and Groom. 

Once signed below, no changes can be made in this agreement and it cannot be canceled.   This contract is therefore considered by both said parties to be legal and binding in accordance to the conditions set forth herein.
